Live and let live

Looking at my plight and strife..

 

Once I had a chat with life.

 

I asked "Why are you putting me at test?"

 

Life said calmly "Why don't you put yourself at rest?"

 

I asked Life "What about the solutions?"

 

Life smiled and said "You always look for conclusions.."

 

Confused, I asked "What's on your mind?"

 

It said Patiently..

 

WHATEVER YOU DESIRE

 

JUST DON'T RUN BEHIND

 

SHED ALL YOUR PRESENT COLORS 

 

AND NEW HAPPINESS YOU WILL FIND

 

This time I decided not to THINK!

 

And acted on the advice without a blink!

 

I no more wished for sorrows of others,

 

and..I found eternal pleasure!

 

I no more worked Only for Money,

 

and.. I had so much of treasure!

 

I no more wished for High social-status,

 

and..People gave me recognition!

 

I stopped being Jealous,

 

and..People praised me till no measure!

 

When death was no longer feared,

 

It was my life that got cheered!

 

When I realized beauty is internal,

 

The word 'Ugly' seemed so external!

 

When I no longer wished in Slavery of others,

 

I became my own master!

 

And then my problems were coped,

 

Before they became disaster!

 

And smiling at life I said at last...

 

O' Life, You were so "TRUE"!

 

Life said yet calmly "O' Human! Will you do me a favor?"

 

I said Life "My Endeavor!"

 

Just spread my message:

 

"LIVE AND LET LIVE!

 

..because You Have Me Only Once

 

There Is No Second Chance!"
